The Hartwell Network is a small wireless network connecting several houses on Hartwell Road in Carlisle, Massachusetts.

Why?
Until recently there was no high speed Internet service available in Carlisle. Right now only cable is available. This is mainly due to screw ups when the initial phone system was installed. Although xDSL equipment is now in the new sub-CO no one is able to order it because of database problems. Also Hartwell Road is right at the limit of xDSL service.
